The menu includes sports bar staples such as traditional wings in one of eight sauces ($9.99 for 10 wings) and philly sandwiches ($9.99), as well as gourmet offerings, from sweet crab and shrimp with ravioli coconut citrus saffron sauce ($12.99) and buffalo chicken burger with blue cheese and buffalo aioli ($10.99). Homefield Sports Bar will also be hosting a comedy show at 8 p.m. on Valentine's Day.

Homefield Sports Bar is "not your typical sports bar," says Nancy Eagleton of the Kendall Gazette. "Instead of a dark, cramped space, think light and spacious." This welcoming atmosphere is by design. The owners wanted to build a family-oriented sports bar and their intentions influenced everything from the clean appearance to the diverse menu. For instance, the kitchen staff grills burgers and baby back ribs, tosses together crisp salads, and cooks salmon, dolphin, and snapper one of five ways before topping the fish with a choice of seven salsas. Perched above the tables, a multitude of LCD TVs and large projectors play sporting events. Homefield is an official Florida State University alumni destination for game days, and it also tunes in to Panther hockey, Heat basketball, Dolphin football, and Skunk-Ape thumb wrestling.
