$40 for a Six-Hour Lobster-Fishing Trip on Sunday–Thursday (Up to $95 Value)

Groups embark on a six-hour lobster-fishing trip aboard one of Hook's Landing's professional fishing boats. Equipped with a hoop net, bait, and a light stick, the party navigates the sea and sets traps for lobster. While waiting for the net to fill, guests can partake in food, soda, and beer from a full galley and sip on a complimentary cup of coffee or hot chocolate. At the end of the trip, guests are able to keep any lobster, bass, rockfish, and crab caught in the net as long as it's legal size and number limits. The trips begin at approximately 5 p.m. and return to port at approximately 11 p.m., Sunday–Thursday. Fishing license and lobster report card are not included.

Hook's Landing

Though little known to humans outside of Ventura, Hook's Landing's sailors are notoriously feared in the sea world. That's due in large part to their successful fishing charters, on which they bag hundreds of rockfish, dozens of whitefish, and multiple lobsters with a crew of tour-goers.The charter's guests can keep any legal-size lobster, crab, and fish they find in their professional-grade hoop nets. Hook's Landing snaps memorable shots of the day's catches and encourages guests to cook their catch, instead of nailing it to a board and trying to make it sing.
