As of December 1, 2010 the site is live everywhere! If there aren’t too many people in your area yet, help us grow by inviting your friends to join and to invite their friends. (Background info: we launched exclusively in New York City in April, 2010 but have now expanded.)

Q; I just did the free sign-up on the website, but then I noticed the Groupon says for new members only. I just set up the free profile to see what the site is all about. Will I still be able to redeem the Groupon?
A: Yep! You need a HowAboutWe account to redeem your Groupon, so you’re golden. The way it will work is that you sign in and then can go to a special page to enter your Groupon code.
“New members only” refers only to those who already have a subscription.
Can you tell me what the age demographic is?
Hi Merantine! The average user age is 30. It’s pretty evenly distributed between 22 and 40, with some older & some younger.

Go to http://www.howaboutwe.com to register for the site, then go to http://www.howaboutwe.com/groupon and enter your Groupon # to redeem your subscription.

I bought this groupon, but the site doesn’t seem to have very many people on it. I’m pretty disappointed because it looked like a good idea. Oh well.
