Choose Between Two Options

  • $59 for three Hypoxi body-shaping sessions (a $235 value)
  • $89 for five Hypoxi body-shaping sessions (a $370 value)

During an initial 50-minute session, patrons meet with a Hypoxi coach for a consultation and nutritional guidelines before undergoing their first body-shaping session. The studio's futuristic-looking machines target common problem areas—such as flabby stomachs, saddlebags, love handles, and cellulite—via specialized workout machines that also deliver vacuum suction and compression therapy. Subsequent sessions last 30 minutes each. Clients typically begin to see results within three or four sessions, and most reach their goals within one to three months of thrice-weekly sessions. Hypoxi Studio Kitchener-Waterloo

In 1997, Dr. Norbert Egger developed the innovative concept for effectively whittling away inches by merging medical therapies with regular exercise and metabolism-boosting nutrition. Dr. Egger's Hypoxi method has since grown to include its own line of exercise equipment and an intensive training program for consultants, who are stationed in 38 countries around the world. Certified consultant Sabine Hutter leads the fight against flab at Hypoxi, where she lines her sunlit space with machines resembling space pods or massage beds—including the Vacunaut, S120, L250, and a time-travelling space pod. The machines' chambers apply vacuum and compression therapies to targeted areas, working in tandem with elliptical trainers or stationary bikes to boost circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

The Groupon Guide to: Backhanded Compliments

Science has proven that it’s almost impossible to say something truly nice to another human being. Unfortunately, maintaining close friendships dictate that you, at the very least, soften your venomous barbs by disguising insults as sly backhanded compliments:

  • “You’re so funny! I wish I could take important things less seriously.”
  • “Great idea! You’re not as stupid as I thought you were for most of my life.”
  • “Nice scarf! It’s like something a handsome person would wear.”
  • “I love your musk! I can always find you in the aisles of Target.”
  • “Happy birthday! I can’t wait to have your decades of wisdom, dignified wrinkles, and rapidly depleting calcium reserves.”

Are your friends using backhanded compliments on you? Find out with today's Groupon Guide.
