The noninvasive Lapex 2000 laser spot-treats fat on problem areas such as the hips, thighs, and abs. The laser light penetrates down to the fat cells, disrupting their membranes. This causes them to release their fatty acids and glycerol into the body and shrink. The body then flushes out these expelled contents via the lymphatic system or burns them for energy. Each session consists of up to three 30- to 40-minute treatments.
