Questions and Answers

Thanks for fixing the Membership Benefits link. Referring to the linked PDF, are we purchasing the "Contributing - $75" membership with this offer?

Yes, this Groupon deal is only for the Contributing membership valued at $75. After purchasing your Groupon, please redeem it by calling the Garden at 343-8649 or visiting us during office hours, Monday-Friday 9-5p.m. Once you redeem the Groupon, your membership will have begun for a full year from that date. - Jennifer, Membership Coordinator

Hi, since the membership benefits link isn't working, what are they? Can my family go to the Gardens an unlimited amount of times throughout the whole year of our membership? Thanks

Thank you for your interest. I apologize that the link isn't working and have notified our Groupon Representative of this issue. Membership to the Garden includes access to the Garden for a full year from redeeming the Groupon. This regular Garden hour access will be free to everyone living in the membership household and members also receive discounts on events, classes and the Garden Gift Shop. Membership to the Idaho Botanical Garden also includes reciprocal membership to other botanical gardens in the nation, meaning that your membership here will allow you to regular hour access to those other gardens. Please follow this link address for additional membership benefits: http://idahobotanicalgarden.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=31 Thank you again for your question. - Jennifer, Membership Coordinator.

Why is there a salesforce.com link (password required) to view the "membership benefits"??? Consider fixing the links in the description.

Thank you for letting me know. I am not sure why that link is up but directed the question to our Groupon Representative and will get it figured out. I appreciate your interest and question. - Jennifer, Membership Coordinator.

For the garden events, we get two passes for only one event, so a family of four would still have to pay for two people for the event, correct? Thanks for clarifying.

Hello, Thank you for you interest. Yes, you would get two passes to redeem for only one of the 4 optional Garden events (events possible listed in the Fine Print section). These passes act as tickets so you can use them for yourself or others if you wish. In a family of four, only two would be able to use the passes. Please let me know if you have any other questions. - Jennifer, Membership Coordinator.

When does the membership actually begin, I am a bit confused on this. Does it begin the moment I purchase the deal? Does the membership begin the first time I actually step into the gardens using this purchase? I have a service dog in training, these dogs have the same rights as a certified service dog in the state of Idaho. Would there be any issues or problems related to bringing my service dog-in-training? If so, please be specific when sending a response. Sincerely, A very Happy Groupon Consumer.

Thank you for your interest! Membership begins from the day it is redeemed at the Garden. You are allowed to redeem your Groupon up until it expires on June 13, 2012. Once you purchase the Groupon, you will still need to redeem it with the Garden either by phone or when you first visit us. This way we will be able to provide you with your membership card and information throughout the year. Your Membership would then be for a full year from when you redeem. Normally dogs are not allowed in the Garden, however a service dog in training would be allowed in the Garden if in full duty status with official dog harness, etc. Thank you again for your questions and please let me know if you have anymore. - Jennifer, Membership Coordinator.
