Commonly Asked Questions

Would you do upper arms? I see forearms and and the total arms but I just need my arms from my elbows to my shoulders.

Tim M. asked 9 months, 10 days, 2 hours, and 33 minutes ago - 1 answer

LUCKY YOU! Upper arms were added as an option for medium!! Purchase your Groupon soon as this is a popular option and there are a limited amount of these available.

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 9 days, 15 hours, and 55 minutes ago

Can you define excessive sun exposure? I lay out on the weekends and don't use sunscreen...don't know if that counts as "excessive".

Hannah R. asked 9 months, 10 days, 2 hours, and 26 minutes ago - 1 answer

Generally speaking, you should not tan for 10 days to 2 weeks prior to coming in. Intermittent exposure (just being outside ) is fine. In your case you may not want to lay out on the weekends within this time frame. Then you should be fine. You can always go in for a free consultation. If you have too much of a tan, you can schedule during a time where your skin is lighter.

what is the difference between bare bikini and brazilian?

gretchen s. asked 9 months, 9 days, 20 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Great question...a basic Bikini is anything outside of a bikini panty bottom, bare bikini is anything out around a thong panty in the front, brazillian is all hair front to back .

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 9 days, 19 hours, and 53 minutes ago

it says only one per visit so if i buy a large area (lower legs) and bikini area medium area i would have to make two appointments i could not get both done at the same visit?

gretchen s. asked 9 months, 9 days, 19 hours, and 29 minutes ago - 1 answer

You can get multiple areas done in one visit...Its actually a great thing to do! One per visit here was meant to be understood this way: If you wanted to get your lip done, you would only have one treatment on your lip that day...you may however use your other Groupon packages and have one treatment on those areas that day.

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 9 days, 16 hours, and 3 minutes ago

For the Medium area, does that cover 1 underarm or both? Do you need to purchase 1 or 2 to cover both underarms?

Bethany A. asked 9 months, 9 days, 16 hours, and 54 minutes ago - 1 answer

1 groupon would take care of both underarms

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 9 days, 2 hours, and 48 minutes ago

Are both underarms included in 1 session for the medium area? Or do they count as 2 sessions?

Regina R. asked 9 months, 9 days, 16 hours, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

Both underarms are included in 1 session

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 9 days, 2 hours, and 47 minutes ago

I currently get waxed every 6 weeks, would I need to stop waxing to have this done? If so for how long?

Debbie asked 9 months, 9 days, 2 hours, and 27 minutes ago - 1 answer

Megan G.

The doctor generally shaves you before treating you so you wouldn't necessarily have to grow the hair out.

I have had numerous sessions in the past and need a few touch up spots. Which package should i buy? The remaining hair is minimal, but happens to be spread over several body parts. Arm pits, upper lip, bikini, legs.

Tamar C. asked 9 months, 9 days, 13 hours, and 51 minutes ago - 3 answers

We recommend buying multiple groupons to take care of all of your areas. You can always work with a friend to gift a groupon to you. That way you can buy one for every section and get a full body service.

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 8 days, 22 hours, and 32 minutes ago

Could I just buy a large or extra large package and have the areas I need touched up as opposed to buying a multiple sections for 1-10 hairs in those areas?

Tamar C. answered 9 months, 8 days, 20 hours, and 47 minutes ago

You could buy the large package or extra large package or you could buy one of the salon's maintenance packages that are not offered through groupon. You can use your groupon packages on muliple body parts within the same category that you purchased. I.E. If you bought ex small you can break sessions up across toes and ears if you wanted to or buy 2 packages and so a similar thing but with more sessions. So you should certainly choose the sizing group that makes the most sense, other wise if it makes more sense, you may consider buying one of the salon's maintenance packages instead which we are not running a special for. Call LeAnne the spa director and have her advise you on the best course of action the groupon package or a maintenance package based on your needs.

Hairs below the eyebrow, not on the eyelid. Can you do it? Also, mole with 4 hairs on chin.

Beth B. asked 9 months, 5 days, 21 hours, and 34 minutes ago - 1 answer

Yes...the chin would be fine. Just buy the package for chin...The eyebrow, no...only unibrow would be accessible.

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 4 days, 18 hours, and 34 minutes ago

I see you can't do upper eyebrow (only unibrow) but can you do clean up when hair grows scatered down towards eyelid? If not, can you removed hair from a mole?

Beth B. asked 9 months, 7 days, and 36 minutes ago - 1 answer

The laser would not be safe to go on the eyelid. Where is the mole located?

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 7 days, and 34 minutes ago

What sort of numbing agent do you use before treatments? Is it a numbing cream or do you just chill the skin? And as for the brazilian, the phrase 'front to back' leads me to believe it goes from the main front patch, between the legs until the hair disappears towards the back. Am I understanding this correctly? Is anything worn during the brazilian procedure or is it a 'bare all' experience? Thank you!

Sarah N. asked 9 months, 7 days, 11 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

There are no numbing agents used and you really won't need one. It is significantly less painful than waxing. You are correct. It covers everything a traditional waxing Brazilian would cover. You can be covered up top in an area that is not being treated, but of course the Dr. would need to have access to the site that is receiving the services and couldn't have it obstructed by garments.

Lindsey S. answered 9 months, 8 days, 15 hours, and 14 minutes ago

Yes

Tiffany B. answered 9 months, 7 days, 20 hours, and 24 minutes ago

I see that the half leg lower stops at the knee, is that the bottom of the knee or top? How far up on the thigh does the half leg, upper go? I'm trying to figure out what to choose to get rid of thigh hair on at least the inner half of my upper leg, from the edge of a panty/bathing suit bottom (non-bikini) to at least 1/2 way down to my knee.

Carol W. asked 9 months, 8 days, 1 hour, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

The upper leg is the top of the knee up, the lower leg is the bottom of the knee down...knee cap can be included with either option but most people don't have a lot of hair on their knees. The bikini is anything outside of the bikini panty. Apart from this would be the upper leg.
