Professional athletes are faced with many difficult decisions, such as choosing to which charity to donate their entire salary or settling on a jersey number. If you get picked to play big ball with the big boys and big girls, use these helpful tips for selecting your definitive digits:

Choose a number that has meaning to you, such as the number of teeth inside your mouth.
Go with a number that gives you an interesting story to tell the sports reporters whenever they ask you "Hey champ, could you tell us why you picked that uniform number again?" This number could be the amount of people you'd kiss if you had no respect for personal boundaries.
Pick a random number, such as 9 or maybe even 10. It's up to you as long as it's either 9 or 10!
No one has ever gotten away with a three-digit number … yet.
Do you have a lucky number? If you don't, you should choose one now because you'll need one—most professional athletes have incredibly short careers and aren't qualified to do anything else.
