While budding photographers are seated on Sunday, January 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Camera Basics and Beyond seminar teaches budding photographers the inner workings of their cameras, including how to successfully set shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. Pro photographers Bruce and Steve teach the course, taking time to answer students' questions and break down photographic fundamentals in a way that everyone can understand.

Impact Photographic Design

Professional photographer Bruce Hendricks may teach photography, but the experience he draws on is all from real life. Bruce was the first Manitoban certified by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission. He's twice been named Photographer of the Year by the Professional Photographers of Canada – Manitoba and has earned a long list of other accreditations and degrees. The artist helms his own studio and practice the lessons he espouses on a daily basis—he take pictures of families and couples during portrait and wedding sessions and directs commercial and industry photo shoots as well. To share his experience with others, he holds photography seminars to help professional, amateur, and student photographers learn new skills and develop confidence in both the art and the business of photography.
