$159 for 90-Minute Discovery Flight Experience ($340 Value)

In a cozy plane with leather finishes, students will test out the pilot’s seat under the supervision of an FAA-certified instructor. The approximately 60 minutes of in-air experience—after 30 minutes on the ground—grants scenic views of downtown Minneapolis and Lake Minnetonka, plus surrounding neighborhoods. Students will also receive a complimentary logbook and are welcome to bring along one friend.

The flight time can be applied toward flight-training time for those interested in earning a pilot’s license.

Inflight Pilot Training

The certified flight instructors at Inflight Pilot Training, many of whom are airline or corporate pilots, boast a collective total of nearly 20,000 in-flight hours. During lessons within one of the facility’s well-maintained aircraft, they’ll impart years of know-how as they teach each student how to properly fly an airplane. All maintenance is conducted by the FAA-certified repair station, Modern Avionics, and the training center also offers airplane rental and ground schools.
