I just bought this groupon and would like to confirm that you use a medical grade laser, not a cosmetic grade laser (I'm asking because in the past I have been required to see a RN or MD at first visit and did not see any mention of that in the groupon)

Hi Cheri, Good question Cherie, this is important. Yes we use a medical grade ELOS Aurora IPL laser with RF technology. This is a very efficient laser that yields outstanding results resulting in shorter treatment times and sessions. Typical treatment for permanent hair reduction is 4-6 treatments versus 6-12 with standard IPL. Clients are thrilled with the results of this laser and I know you will be too. Is the treatment effective for white or gray hairs? I have heard that some lasers only work on pigmented hair.

Hi Tamara, Yes this is true, some lasers only work on pigmented hair. The laser that we have is a medical grade laser that effectively treats all skin colors and hair colors so we are able to treat those very stubborn white and gray hairs as well. Island has new laser for my last two visits - it is AWESOME! It gives the best results I have ever had anywhere (OK, the other 5 places I have had this type of service on various parts). is it possible to use the 6 sessions on different parts, for example 3 for one part and 3 for another within the same saze category?
