WAY better than the over-hyped Sofra (Turkish Restaurant downtown)!! Much nicer ambiance as well. I was really under-whelmed when we went to Sofra. Maybe because Istanbul has been a neighbourhood gem for us for several years. We had sort of taken advantage of the fact that we have great Turkish food at our fingertips! The prices are a bit high for the neighbourhood but the food is very tasty, you get enormous portion sizes and it's always fresh. It is still less than half of the price of Sofra too!
