Fully approved by the Department of State, the salesperson licensing course is taught by NYC- and NYS-licensed instructors and guidance counselors. The course runs for a total of 75 hours, divided into 20 modules that last three–four hours each, and covers topics such as client assessment and how to select an ideal broker. A flexible schedule lets students begin classes at any time and take classes in any order, earning their license in as little as 14 days or as long as 6 months. Along with having a sponsoring broker, students must complete the full course and pass course test before being able to take the state licensing exam which requires a passing score of at least 70%. This Groupon does not cover the cost of the course textbook.
