Janelle Poitinger LMT

Janelle Poitinger realized her life's purpose when a close family member was battling cancer. Janelle saw how much massage helped that person cope with her tremendous struggle, and wondered how rewarding it would be to help others ease physical pain and emotional stress through massage therapy. Janelle earned her massage-therapist license from the Ohio State medical board in 1997, and she’s since dedicated herself to helping clients relax from the tension and aches of everyday life.

Janelle customizes her massages to the needs of each individual. As she works, she pays close attention to clients’ feedback and how their bodies respond to the treatment before adjusting her techniques accordingly. After her massages, clients leave the office feeling more relaxed, energetic, and focused. In order to stay at the top of her game, Janelle regularly attends continuing-education classes and keeps her hands strong by challenging bodybuilders to thumb wars. Outside the office, clients might spot her riding her scooter around town or trying out new hobbies, such as golf.
