what level membership does he have in ICOI ? Is there any state licencing/permit ing to do this if you are a general dentist ?

I have read the following . In response, what specific verifiable training have you had. Most folks say this needs to be done by a periodontist or oral surgeon, so if you are a general dentist, what qualifies you. This is a major committment of money, even at the discounted rate and so I need to feel comfortable. Here is what I read. Please respond A weekend course and certificate in implant dentistry is NOT sufficient to provide dental implant care safely and predictably! Your dentist should have specific training in dental implants and be able to demonstrate attendance in continuing education courses which are academic-based. Some dentists may have received implant training while pursuing a specialty degree, i.e. Prosthodontics, Periodontology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, at an accredited Dental University program. While others may have attended post-graduate full-year accredited education programs in implant dentistry.

I understand your concerns and I can assure you woud be in good hands with Dr. Javadi he has had the following training: ICOI Member (Implant prosthetic section), Nobel Biocare Comprehensive Surgical Implant Treatment Training Certification, and Member of International Congress of Oral Implantologist. He has been placing implants for over 7 years and is up to date with his continuing education. If you would feel more comfortable with an Oral Surgeon I would suggest that you go that route.
