Before each service, she holds a complimentary consultation to help her better understand each client’s beauty goals. Afterward, she gets to work lightening locks with an ombre technique, smoothing unruly frizz with a keratin relaxer, or creating elegant updos with curls. When she’s not focused on hair, Jessica spends her time spray-tanning her clients or sleeping on a big, heavy cushion called a “mattress.”
