Our family will be on the North Shore Dec 17 to Dec 22. Would we be able to schedule lessons during that time? Would it be best for each of us to buy multiple groupons so we can do several lessons?

There is a great beginner spot in Haleiwa called Puaena Point. It is perfectly small even when it is big everywhere else. :)

Is there an extra rental fee for the board and wetsuit?

No, the board in included and a rashguard is provided. The water is too warm for a wetsuit! :)

My wife and I will be traveling with our 4 year old son. Are there age restrictions for him to attempt paddle boarding or surfing with one of us on a board with him?

Yes!! Paddle boarding would be great with him. :) I could bring a life jacket for him! He is a little young for surfing. He could easily sit of your paddle board as we go up the calm river, and he can come for free! :)

I have wanted to try this every time I am in Hawaii but I am 52, not athletic and a poor swimmer. I mean, I won't sink like a stone but I'm not strong or truly confident in the water. Out of the question?

No, not out of the question at all!! You will be riding a huge 12 foot board which makes surfing very easy! 52 is young, I've gotten 80 year old people to stand up!! :)

Does the surf lesson include a day rental of a surfboard or is the surfboard usage over once the lesson is over?
