$10 for $20 Worth of Thai, Japanese, and Sushi for Two

Choose from more than 50 kinds of sushi, such as a crunchy spicy-tuna roll ($5.95); tuna ($4.75), octopus ($4.50), and white-fish sashimi ($4.00); and a Mexican roll packed with fried shrimp, avocado, mayo, and smelt roe ($5.75). Other menu items include Japanese teriyaki, such as chicken ($13.99) or tofu ($13.99), and tempura dinners with shrimp, vegetable, or pork ($13.99-$16.99). In addition to Japanese and sushi offerings, the restaurant also offers Thai classics such as massaman curry with thai curry paste, coconut milk, vegetables, and peanuts (starting at $8.45 with choice of meat), and pad se-ew (starting at $8.45 with choice of meat).

Joto Thai-Sushi

As diners enter Joto Thai-Sushi, their attention is drawn to the newly redecorated, amber-toned dining room. In the kitchen, chefs cut, roll, and transform fresh fish into more than 50 kinds of sashimi and maki, such as the spider roll—packed with deep-fried soft-shell crab—and the fried-fish Tampa roll, appeal to sushi-eaters not ready to go raw, while more traditional options, such as fresh salmon or sweet-shrimp sashimi, slake cravings for fish in its purest form. Groups can order an assortment of rolls and sashimi, typically served on a large wooden boat for the table to share, or settle into a table and enjoy fresh-grilled salmon teriyaki, shrimp tempura, or udon soup. In addition to the sushi and Japanese offerings, diners can also enjoy expertly prepared Thai classics such as Pad Thai and a variety of Thai curries. For dessert, the chefs perform the seemingly impossible and deep-fry ice cream.

The Groupon Guide to: Where Babies Come From

Having “the talk” with your child can be awkward—especially if your child is still too young to understand the nuances of human reproduction or, worse, is a giggler. Postpone the difficult conversation a few more months with one of these classic explanations about where babies come from:

  • Babies are dropped down the chimney by storks who swoop down and steal them from other families.
  • Babies are hatched from the cabbage patch, so if you think about it, eating vegetables is essentially cannibalism.
  • Babies are assembled at the hospital and wrapped tightly in a blanket until all the glue is dry.
  • When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, their psychic harmonics produce an cytoplasmic egg that must be kept in a dark closet for nine months.
  • Babies are an invention of the celebrity-obsessed media to sell magazine covers of pregnant starlets.

Is it time to tell your kids the truth about where babies come from? Learn how with today's Groupon Guide.
