My team from work went to K1 Speed recently. We were ALL shaking from the adrenaline rush for approximately 30 minutes after we finished the last race. No joke. This deal’s a no-brainer.

It’s just a height requirement of 4’10"- If you have a 4 year old that’s that tall then they’re good to go
Facebook User- Happy to hear it’s a no-brainer, though don’t you think if you’re smart enough to do something you should do then it should be called a full-brainer? Or at least a half-brainer? Just a thought on a Friday…
I bought this for our family and sent it to another family to join. She read the fine print….can we really not use this as a family of 4? One person has to use it? If so, that is a real bummer as I know a lot of families that would interested in trying this place.

Unfortunately it’s only valid for one person. Most people when they go to K1 want to race multiple times instead of driving out there for just one race. That was the thinking, we wanted everyone to be able to have an awesome day of races and enjoy themselves. And if you don’t want to use all the races in one day, you can have them carry over to another visit. If that is not satisfactory, feel free to email support@groupon.com for help with a refund.

Does the birthday one have to be used on your birthday or can it be used during the week of your birthday?

It must be used on your birthday that you write down when you sign up so they can match it to your registration- Hope that helps and enjoy the races!

Do I need the drive licence to drive?
ANd this groupon expires at 05/09/2010, can I use my birthday race if my birthday is after that?

You do NOT need a driver’s license to drive at k1!
And as long as you go to k1 in the next 6 months and activate your license you can use it on your bday even if it’s later in the year

I want to buy four, one for each grandson, but I want to make sure that I don’t wind up with four that I have to use myself. How do I get their names on the offer?

They simply can say they were gifts- K1 will ask for their names but you don’t have to worry- You won’t get stuck with the four

Isn’t the value of this deal $86? On their website it states that a membership includes a free birthday race.

The way the system is set up each groupon can only be used for one person, it cannot be split.

We estimated the value based on 20 for each race and the license- So I guess you do get a race with the license, but the value of that is is still 20 plus the license- either way it’s a great deal, hopefully this is ok for you.

The company website says the height requirement is 4’11". Do you know how strict they are with this? My son would qualify for the 4"10" with his shoes on, but not barefooted. My older son only wants to go if his younger brother can too!

4’10" with shoes is as low as they’ll go- so if he’s 4’10" with shoes you’re fine- and who knows, if you wait to go for 3 months maybe he’ll grow an inch!

ok everyone! Just got off with k1 speed and I have an update for anyone who’s interested-
you now CAN split up the races between multiple people- each extra person will have to pay the 5.95 license fee, but the races can be split!

Awesome offer! One last question that doesn’t seem to be covered: the fine print says this is to be used over multiple visits, which kind of kills the whole fun day of racing that is mentioned. Can you get clarification if a person could use it for more than one race in a day? Thanks!
Deanna- ABSOLUTELY- You can use 4 races in one day! Or just spread the races out, so have fun at the races as much as you want!

what is the annual license good for? does it give you a discount for additional racing?

The license is an annual membership- It is necessary to race- But throughout the year you will receive various offers and specials on races and other things

Can I purchase this for a birthday party group, pay the extra for licenses when we come, and use it on my son’s bday for an extra race?

If the original license is in your son’s name when you go and sign up then yes you can use it on his bday
And since they are letting you split it up all you have to do is have each extra person buy a license

Any idea how this track compares to Traxx in Lynnwood, is it a longer track, are the cars faster, total time of race?
I can’t be sure how this compares to traxx, but I can tell you this track is 1/5 of a mile, I believe reaches speeds of around 30 mph, and is washington’s only electric karting center- hopefully this helps
