Kabob Bazaar

It seems quite easy to make grilled kebabs—all you need is skewers, an open flame, and hunks of meats. However, it’s remarkable how well the chefs at Kabob Bazaar prepare their tasty, charred chunks of swordfish, salmon, lamb, and ground sirloin. Alongside their namesake cuisine, other Persian eats, such as stuffed grape leaves and beef-tongue sandwiches, which are served on baguettes from the eatery’s tandoor oven, meet diners for lunch or dinner. For dessert, guests might sample the housemade baklava or two scoops of housemade ice cream—flavored with rose water and saffron. All of the food is served in a casual dining area that features yellow walls, café chairs, exposed brick, and a bar adorned with three shiny, silver samovars filled with steaming Persian tea.

The Groupon Guide to: Skiing Sayings

Anyone who's spent a significant amount of time around professional skiers will tell you that downhill dunderheads (as they prefer to be called) have their own culture and way of speaking. Here are some phrases you can expect to hear the next time you’re sliding down the slopes:

  • It's all downhill from here!
  • I'm down with downhill skiing!
  • Head downhill, dummy!
  • Hey, look at me! I'm a character on Downhill Abbey!
  • What is that coat made of? Down? Hill ya later!
  • I'm king of the downhill!
  • Just call me Down Hill-ary because I'm the Hillary Clinton of downhill skiing!
  • Powder over chowder!

Who is the main character on the BBC's only show about skiing British royalty? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.

Reviews

  • The kabobs are cooked to perfection and the portions are very generous. I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes.
