a bit confusing… can i buy one and bring two people with me to dine? order for three people and then pay with the one groupon?

Each person may buy 1 Groupon, and additional as gifts for their friends. How you choose to spend your Groupon is totally up to you! So yes, you may feed your friends using one Groupon!

Do you have to use the full $30 in one sitting?
I just went to print my coupon because I want to eat there TONIGHT, and upon printing a pop-up window told me they are “too busy handling the phone call inquiries from this promotion” so I can’t use the coupon until tomorrow. I think that’s pretty lame and the system should let you know that before buying.

This place is super awesome! I love Kasa. If you go with one other person and you both get a Thali plate with mango lassi, it costs around $21 or so.
Hello everyone, this question is primarily directed at those who have eaten at the two Kasa locations before. Which do you think is better, the Castro location, or the Marina location? I plan to go on a Saturday (dinner) with one other person. I am primarily concerned with the wait time. In addition, I am very curious about the vegetarian dishes. I would be very grateful for any feedback on your fave dish. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Michelle — the food is fantastic at either location. You can’t go wrong! The Marina space is new — we opened in December 2009 — and bigger than Castro. So you’ll likely have a better chance of getting a table at the Marina location. I’ll let others respond on fave veggie dishes, but mine are the Bhindi (fresh cut okra stir-fried with chilies and onions, spiced with green mango powder and pomegranate seeds) and Bharta (smokey roasted and mashed eggplant with sweet peas). Saag paneer is usually a fast sellout. Call either restaurant to find out the special for that day.
@Michelle, Ive eaten at kasa a million times-huuuge fan-always found parking around there too. love their sweet green cilantro chutney! never been to marina, but kasa has never been over crowded ever, and the lines move fast to order (like chipotle).
I’m vegetarian, and ive always had their paneer, its not rich and greasy like other indain palces…and has that great home made taste. their daily specials, cauliflower, okra, potato are also good. i suggest you try 1 filling per roll or if they let you pick half of 2 gravies. their masala chai and lassi are the best too!
Just to clarify. Can I buy 3 groupons in my name, use one for myself and gift the other 2 to seperate people or do I have to declare who the other 2 are going to during my buying of these groupons Thanks

Yes, as long as you only use 1 Groupon for yourself, and give the others away, you should be A-Okay!

me and a friend just ate here. very simple menu , only 6 or 7 items all available either as a 2 item plate or as rolls 2-3 is recommended each.
