Once mastered, chopsticks are the most manageable eating utensils, unlike forks, which get mangled in the dishwasher, or fingers, which get lost in the mouths of teething sock puppets. Eat easily with today's Groupon: for $12, you get $25 of sushi and Asian cuisine at Katana Sushi in Annapolis.

Chefs behind Katana Sushi’s elongated sushi bar shape a menu of 37 fresh rolls and sizzle authentic Asian fare in plain view of diners. Patrons can feast upon 16 special sushi rolls such as the shrimp-tempura-stuffed Bonsai roll ($12.99) or the Flaming Volcano ($16), whose flaming-hot eruptions of eel, spicy tuna, and shrimp engulf diners’ taste buds and replicas of Pompeii carved from grains of rice. Chefs also simmer the salty-sweet flavor of teriyaki sauce into 16 broiled entrees, and snuggle the Salmon Lover special combo’s titular fish into a sleeping bag of rice alongside eight slabs of salmon sushi. Amid mint-green walls lit by hanging lanterns, groups can banquet boisterously at Katana’s larger tables as couples cozy into booths to play flirtatious thumb wars under the table.

Incredibly fast and friendly service, and good sushi!
