Commonly Asked Questions

Would the Groupon cover a shellac french manicure, or would there be an additional charge?

Justine M. asked 5 months, 2 days, 18 hours, and 59 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

French is an additional $5, and is not included with the Groupon.

Kimberly B. answered 5 months, 2 days, 6 hours, and 2 minutes ago

On the Kimberly Blake nails deal, if I buy one for a guest, can we both come in and use them together, since it says one per visit?

Julie M. asked 5 months, 2 days, 13 hours, and 53 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

Yes it is! :-) glad you asked.. Shellac is more of an extended wear polish and the "no chip" is color gel that is applied like polish. Both require curing to set the product, but the shellac is a bit easier on the plate. The shellac will easily wear about 14 days. No chip can go a month and requires more soak time and some filing to remove.

Kimberly B. answered 5 months, 2 days, 5 hours, and 57 minutes ago

I wanted to know if the groupon could used for the shellac with designs and if not how much extra would it cost. Thanx

Christy C. asked 5 months, 2 days, 9 hours, and 15 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

Unfortunately the deal is for basic shellac, shellac art requires more time, curing and product and is an additional $15 as an add-on.

Kimberly B. answered 5 months, 2 days, 5 hours, and 55 minutes ago

I was trying to email Kimberly and the email address failed. Does she have a phone number to call and schedule appointments?

Elizabeth S. asked 5 months, 1 day, 17 hours, and 47 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

Hi Elizabeth! :-) ALL appointments should be booked online at www.kimblakes.com I rarely do phone appointments because I can't answer the phone while doing a service. We work by appointment only, because of the demand and time allowed for services. Thanks and I'll see you soon!

Julie M. asked 5 months, 2 days, 14 hours, and 6 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

I'm sure that won't be a problem, print both Groupons and bring to that visit.

Kimberly B. answered 5 months, 2 days, 5 hours, and 53 minutes ago

I have 2 questions. 1. It says "Limit 1 per visit" but if I buy the 2 for $39 deal, can my friend and I come in and use them at the same time? 2. Does this Groupon price include a basic manicure as well (soak, trim, file, massage, etc.)? Or is this only the cost of the shellac process and a basic manicure is an additional cost? Thank you.

Meagan C. asked 5 months, 2 days, 17 hours, and 35 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

My shellac application is the entire manicure, and yes I'm sure I can take both Groupons at one time. Bring them both for the visit.

Are the UltraViolet lamps or LCD lamps used to dry nails?

Sabrina C. asked 5 months, 2 days, 16 hours, and 33 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kimberly B.

The ultraviolet lamp is used to cure the product. Shellac is a polish/gel hybrid and requires curing.
