Kyoto Sushi Restaurant

Chefs craft authentic Japanese cuisine and a wealth of made-to-order sushi at Kyoto Sushi Restaurant. The restaurant caters to customers’ tastes with its individualized maki and sushi, as well as concoct classic hand and veggie rolls such as salmon avocado maki and asparagus maki. Creativity shines through signature rolls such as the Creamy roll, a shrimp tempura and sweet crab pairing rolled in avocado, and the Summer Dragon maki.

Along with sushi, the Kyoto menu includes traditional Japanese eats such as vegetable and pork pot stickers, marinated-seaweed salad, and broiled mackerel served teriyaki- or shioyaki-style. The team serves meals in Kyoto’s 60-person, dimly lit dining room, which surrounds patrons with vibrant Japanese decor, including dolls and rustic wooden shelves. Guests can supply their own beverages under the BYOB policy or fuel their fugitive lifestyle with carryout.

The Groupon Guide to: Cool Magic Tricks

It's totally lame when a magician comes to your school, right? Wrong! Magicians can win over any crowd of modern, jaded youngsters—and impart some wisdom along the way—by performing any of these cool new magic tricks:

• Turning the principal into a booger
• Making a dog bark a swearword
• Un-sawing your parents’ marriage in half
• Skateboarding…INSIDE?
• Disappearing inside a giant pizza box and the pizza’s still in there
• Turning a pile of homework into a pile of fire
• The coolest trick of all—rising above the pressures of chewing tobacco

A magician told me not to do drugs, so I never did drugs.

Reviews

  • The sushi is always good and fresh here. Rice is nicely packed and the fish slice is the right thickness. Very nice and private ambiance.

  • Kyoto is our new favorite sushi restaurant in the city. The sashimi is fresh and melts in your mouth.
