Does this deal have to be consumed in one sitting, or ca one use it more than once?

The fine prints indicates that this is valid at happy hour. Does this imply that it is limited to happy hour? I wanted to try the brunch.

You are welcome to use this Groupon at brunch! Some Groupon’s have excluded happy hour because the prices are already so low, but we wanted to make sure you knew you could use this for happy hour at L’Enfant with the exception of Tuesday.

I saw that the Groupon is not valid on their happy hour Tue night b/w 5:30pm and 7:30pm. L’enfant’s website shows that their Tue happy hour starts at 4:00 pm. Just want to know if I get there at 4:30 can I still use the Groupon on Tue?

Thanks for fact checking us! You are right, the Belgian Beer Happy Hour at L’Enfant does start earlier, at 4:30. We have updated the Fine Print on the offer to reflect the correct hours. Unfortunately, you still won’t be able to use the Groupon during that specific event, but you may use it during happy hour any other day of the week.

Can groupons be used to cover several people (e.g. if I buy this groupon, can I invite other people to join me for lunch/dinner, and cover the tables bill with this groupon)?
If I only use half of the groupon for my meal ($15), can I order carry out (another $15 worth), or is the groupon only good for food bought and consumed at the restaraunt? This question is general for groupons, but also specific to this deal.
Lastly, do I need to do something special before or after I arrive (e.g. do I need to tell them I have the groupon before I order, or can I just present it once the bill comes)?

Hi Jonathan,
You are welcome to invite several people and use this Groupon to cover the check. In fact, that is what we recommend for L’Enfant because the do have a moderately priced menu and it would be difficult to spend $35 on yourself. I think it would be fine if you wanted to order dessert or something else to take home as long as it was part of the same check. You just can’t apply a balance to a separate order.
You don’t need to do anything special before you arrive. Just order like your normally would and present the Groupon with your check. $35 from the food & beverage portion of your bill will be deducted. (tax and gratuity is not included)
Have the purchased groupons been sent out, because I’m afraid my junk mail filter deleted it and it is not showing up in “My Groupons.” Help!
Hi John,
You should get a confirmation e-mail from us today that you purchased this Groupon, but you will not get the e-mail with access to the certificate until early tomorrow morning when we actually charge your credit card.
Also, if you lose an e-mail from us, you can always just log in to your account on our site and you will be able to see all of the Groupon’s you have ever bought and reprint them if necessary.

Okay, thanks Sarah! Groupon e-mails are now “safe” in my email so it shouldn’t happen again. If I don’t get anything tomorrow, I’ll ask for help again.

I’m aware that we can’t use the Groupon during the Tuesday half-off happy hour… But— could we arrive during happy hour on Tuesday, drink and then close our drink tab as normal- then once HH is over, open up a new tab, order meals and use the Groupon for our food orders?

Hi: What’s the expiration date for use of this Groupon and Groupons in general? I have out-of-town guests coming in late Oct. and I’d like to “pre-order” so I can treat them to this place.
There doesn’t seem to be a separate topic for this, but I’m having trouble with today’s"side deal" on Field Notes memo books. Cant get the coupon code to work. It doesn’t tell me it’s not valid, but there isn’t a discount or anything showing up.
Panteha – That sounds like a very creative way to enjoy the Belgian Beer Happy Hour and you Groupon in one trip to L’Enfant! As long as you are not trying to pay for your half price belgian beer with the Groupon, you will be just fine. :)
Kuko – You’ll have six months to use this Groupon, so you can definitely plan ahead and buy it for your guests visit in October. You can always find the expiration date under Fine Print at the top.
