I bought three of these – one as a gift and one for each location for myself. On my phone app, I only see one Groupon. It SAYS I have two but I can’t figure out how to “get” the second one… Any thoughts?
A A.- Generally all of the Groupons sold do not tally until after the feature runs. You should see all of your Groupons in your ‘account’ tomorrow. If you do not, you may contact customer service. Their information can be found at the bottom of every page under ‘Contact Us’. Hope this helps!
I really like LaMestiza here Downtown. Have not been to the one on Odana Rd. The Downtown staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good. Happy hour is fun and a value, too. All in all, very positive experiences. Groupon!
Mestiza has delicious food.
But as soon as I started reading the description: “After scientists revealed UFOs were actually…” I just stopped bothering with the rest. Who writes this junk at Groupon? 15 yr old wannabe comics? Not amusing. Not helpful. If I were the restaurateur I’d be annoyed by this inanity. Am I the only one that finds “Groupon humor” obnoxious?
We have eaten at La Mestiza on Odana Rd several times over the last couple of years. Wonderful food!
I don’t find “Groupon humor” obnoxious, I think it’s just quirky generic. The content is probably recycled regionally, say for the Mexican restaurant in Boise, El Paso, and Wallowa, and they’re hoping to maintain a facade that they write original content for each “Groupon”. Presumably they write a lot of these, so I say cut them some slack — you just got 52% off dinner.
I do think the descriptions are dumb. I think they’re trying to be fun and quirky like Woot, but they seem to fail completely.
This was my first Groupon purchase – looking forward to La Mestiza!
