After graduating from Santa Barbara's Brooks Institute, Jimmy Fishbein headed to New York. For the next six years, he worked alongside Albert Watson, Arthur Elgort, and Annie Leibovitz protégé George Lane. He has since relocated to Chicago, and now shoots photos and covers for publications such as Newsweek, Wired, TimeOut Chicago, and Chicago Tribune Magazine. He also captures images of weddings, families, kids, and mitzvahs while working through one of his three photography companies. He emphasizes spontaneity at his shoots, framing guests in natural environments rather than forcing them to pose inside a cold, lifeless drying machine. Afterward, clientele can select their favorite pictures to keep as high-resolution images or prints.
