Sitting for a photo was once a long and arduous process, as evidenced by the unkempt facial hair grown by our earliest presidents during their portrait sessions. Capture a clean image with this Groupon.

Lance Johnston Studios

In 1994, Lance Johnston launched his photography business in a makeshift studio within the garage of his parents’ house. These days, his Conway studio still resides in a Johnston-family garage, only this time the 1,200-square-foot space rests on nearly two acres of land that Lance himself owns. During Wednesday and Friday sessions in Conway, Tuesday and Thursday shoots at his Little Rock Studio, and numerous on-location appointments in between, Lance and his top-notch staff busily refine his “new classic” style by snapping shots of families, high-school seniors, wedding parties, and kids. His clients can capture their favorites in a variety of matted, framed, and canvas portraits. Lance’s eye for preservation-ready moments has earned him 11 Kodak Gallery awards as well as honors for his children’s photography from the APPA and the Arkansas chapter of the If You Keep Making That Face, It Might Stay That Way Forever Foundation.

The Groupon Guide to: Forensics

Detectives use the scientific principles of forensics to track down criminals and lock them away in the American Criminal Vault. Here's your guide to tracking down bad guys like a pro:

Look for Fingerprints: Criminals cover their hands in a thick layer of petroleum jelly before committing theft so that they can easily pick up any stray flecks of gold lying around rich people's houses; however, this sticky hand coating often leaves behind incriminating residue.

Collect Clues: Anything that seems amiss could be a clue: a half-written letter, a shower left running, a man tied to a pole in a basement. Don't take these little hints for granted.

Interview Witnesses: Contrary to popular belief, 94% of crimes are committed in the presence of a court-certified, undercover witness. These "viewers of violence," "watchers of wayward acts," and "minders of malfeasance" could be anyone from the man on the street corner asking if you know where he could watch some crimes to the woman in your office asking if you know where she could watch some crimes. Listen to what these "beholders of beheading" have to say.

Where are the beholders of beheading hiding?
