Las Vegas Riding Academy

Kids lace up riding boots and strap on helmets all year long at Las Vegas Riding Academy to learn essential skills and safety techniques through games and equestrian day-camp activities. Instructors Kathryn Davis, Alisa Everson, and Tylor Malcolm teach lessons for children and adults that begin with basics, such as how to halter and lead horses, and build to the specifics of Western and English riding styles. The Academy also helps students discover the joys of equine companionship during horse camps, where young campers learn how to care for and interact with horses without the hassle of owning one or agreeing on a value of magic beans to trade for one. Kids also practice roping and riding techniques, care for other farm animals, and participate in craft projects.

The Groupon Guide to: Owl Food

Owls are not only the wisest of all the great birds in the sky but they're also the hungriest. Given the opportunity, owls will attempt to eat any of the following:

  • A mouse
  • A small rabbit
  • A mouse riding a small rabbit
  • A roller skate that has burger meat inside it
  • A large bug
  • A potato with cardboard mouse ears stuck on with toothpicks
  • A photo of a cow that makes it look like it's the size of a mouse
  • A dirty brown tennis ball rolling down a hill

Under what circumstances will an owl eat a cow?
