Groupon: Collective Buying Power

I see that you recommend 6 sessions for a treatment area and that you are allowing customers to buy two groupons in order to achieve those 6 sessions. However, your website says “How frequently do I need treatments? — Laser hair removal treatments are usually performed every two months. Our experienced Clinic Directors will design a protocol to fit your individual needs before beginning any treatment program.”

My understanding is that it will take a year to use up your six treatments on your selected treatment area but your groupon expires 9/15/10 – is this the date by when you need to start your treatments or is this the date that the treatments needed to be completed?

The offer says that there are 7 treatment areas to choose from-can you tell me what areas are included in this offer.

The fine print says “Limit 2 Groupons per treatment area” – so if I wanted to receive hair removal on three different areas (underarms, lower legs, bikini) I could by 6 groupons? Is this correct?

Katherine- As stated in the fine print, you must redeem your first treatment by the expiration date.

Sheryl- You can reference the first paragraph of the article where it states that today’s offer is valid for upper lip, underarm, regular bikini, lower legs, shoulders, beard, or back of the neck.

Lindy- Yes. If you wanted to receive the treatment on 3 areas you can purchase 6 Groupons with two Groupons used per area.

This treatment is covered at the Philadelphia center, correct? My mom was going to purchase one of the two treatment sets for me as a gift, however said in the site it reads “Laser Hair Removal offers a permanent alternative to waxing, shaving, and electrolysis. This deal is awesome and I’m buying regardless of the answer to my question. But I’m a bit confused:
The fine print says one treatment area but the list includes treatment areas in the plural. Is a treatment area one shoulder or both? One lower leg?

I am so glad that you are happy with today’s offer. Each of the following count as one treatment area area: upper lip, underarm, regular bikini, lower legs, shoulders, beard, or back of the neck. Both shoulders are counted as one area and the same goes for underarms and lower legs. You are able to purchase two Groupons per area for a total of 6 treatments per area.

I have had laser hair removal in the past (5 years ago)and just need a “clean up” do you think I will need three sessions? By the way, best present I ever gave to myself!!!

Cheryl C.- Yes. I think you would need three because it has been 3 years. Overtime, hormonal changes in the body may cause hair growth. In addition, dormant folicles may have opened. Good luck on your purchase.

Does Laser Cosmetica have Saturday hours? I can’t make it in during the week, but I want to purchase the package.

I called and was told they have Saturday hours only on the last Saturday of each month, and I believe it was 10:00 to 5:00. Monday thru Friday they’re open until 7.

I see that it covers basic bikini waxing. If i wanted to upgrade to brazilian, what would that cost?

Yes, you can gift this to your cousin but if she has already purchased this offer in New York from Groupon then the same rules apply as stated in the fine print. She can not use more than 2 Groupons per treatment area no matter where she redeems or purchased from- Philadelphia or New York.

i would like to purchase this for my fiance since he has always wanted to get his beard done. What parts of the face does this cover? Does it include the front part of the neck as well? Also what is a boss’s car? It was mentioned as one of the areas in the groupon description of the deal and areas covered. thanks

My question is does this cover the chin area for women?

Does lower leg mean from knee to ankle?

I am not quite clear about using the Groupon by the expiration date. The deal states that I can buy two Groupons so that six treatments can be done for one area. Do I have to use both Groupons by the 9/15/10 expiration date? Or can I start the sessions by the expiration date and start treatment session 4 (or groupon #2) after 9/15/10. Thanks!!

Darshna- Your boss’s car was just part Groupon’s humor. The offer is valid for either the beard or back of neck as well as the other areas listed above and in the offer.

Sharon- This does not cover the chin area for women.

Meredith- Lower leg does mean from your knee down.

Vicki- If you purchase two Groupons for one area then present both by the exipiration to start your treatments.

Hi, I think you are taking advantage of women not to include a woman’s chin! You will do big areas such as lower legs but not a woman’s chin???

I purchased this groupon and love the deal! However, today I made it to my appointment and found out when I got there that the first appointment is not for a treatment but rather for a consultation (this doesn’t count against your total package). If I had wanted to get a treatment today I should have freshly shaved this morning. It seems that the people at the 888 # are overwhelmed by the response. GREAT deal!!

As a follow up, they have unexpectedly closed. Don’t expect any help from their corporate office.

Has anyone had any luck getting their file and transferring their service to the new company?? I cannot get my file and I’m already a month overdue on my apt!!
