When does it expire?

Aneeta Y.

Does this include the spa services? If I go over $100 would I just pay the difference?

Sarah R.

Hi Aneeta,

This is Sarah with Groupon. Yes, this includes all spa services. You are correct. If you spend more than $100 you will just pay the difference to L’Azur at the time of your services

Sarah

Sarah C.

Can the groupon be split between two people in one visit? (aka, I get a pedicure while my boyfriend gets a massage and then we use one groupon to pay collectively?)

Thanks!

Yaquelin L.

Can I combine the two groupons?

Sarah R.

Sarah – The Groupon is for one customer only. You can’t split up the $100 between multiple people.

Yaquelin – Yes, in fact if you do buy 2 Groupon’s for yourself you must combine them and use them in the same visit. (this particularly makes sense for someone who wants a haircut and highlights)

Sarah

Madeline S.

if I have already gotten my haircut there before, so am technically not a new customer cannot I not get this as a gift for christmas and use it?

Jenna

How much is it for a cut and color?

Tiffani B.

I brought two groupons - can 1 be used for one person and the other used for someone else, or do i have to use them both on one person? I understand that they have to be used within the same visit.

Tiffani

Pat R.

I bought 2 coupons, 1 for me, 1 for a Christmas gift for daughter. Please!!! tell me that will be acceptable!

Sarah R.

Tiffani, Pat – Absolutely! You are more than welcome to use one and give one to someone else.

Best,
Sarah

Zaimah K.

Can the groupons be used towards the spa packages they have listed on their website?

Sarah R.

Madeline – this is for new customers only, so if you buy one, you cannot use it for yourself, but you are welcome to give it to someone else as a holiday gift.

Jenna – You can see the price list here: http://lazursalonspa.com/services.html
The prices range depending on whether you get a single-process color or highlights.

Robert L.

can you buy 2 to used at once as a gift for another person?

Sarah R.

Hi Robert,

Sure. You can buy two and give them both as a gift, as long as the recipient knows they need to be used at the same time.

Best,
Sarah

Emily S.

If I buy 2, you mentioned you have to use both in a single visit. What if I don’t use the entire amount in that single visit. Can it be used toward a future visit?

Tamar G.

Is there any way to rush the Groupon so that I could use it this weekend?

Sarah R.

Hi Emily,

As is the case with all Groupon’s, there will be no change or credit given if you don’t spend the entire value of the certificate, so look at the price list and plan ahead. You can always schedule a lower priced service like a polish change or eyebrow wax to get to that total.

Sarah

Renee M.

Hi There,

I would like to make an appt with them tomorrow, do you think i would receive the Groupon in time?

Thanks! :)

Sarah R.

Hi Renee,

As long as we are able to process your credit card number today, you will get your Groupon tomorrow morning in time for an afternoon appointment.

Sarah

I would like to purchase one groupon and then exchange it for a gift certificate to give as a Christmas gift. Would this be possible? If so, can the exchange be done over the phone or do I need to go down to the salon to do this? Thank you.

Sarah R.

Hi Mary,

You won’t be able to exchange the Groupon for an actual gift certificate because the terms would be a little bit different. However, you can just give this Groupon as a gift. The headline on the Groupon will be “$100 worth of services” and the price you paid will not be on the certificate at all.

Sarah

Wendi J.

Can I use the Groupon to buy Aveda products (i.e. shampoo)?

Sarah R.

Hi Wendi,

This Groupon is only good for services, not retail. If you get a haircut, they will use the Aveda products though! :)

Sarah

Hi Sarah, I just bought the Gift Certificate, can you confirm I will receive it in time for my appointment tomorrow at 5pm?

Nicole L.

Any word on next day redemption?

Nicole L.

My bad, see the answer further up.

Sarah R.

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to reiterate that if you buy this Groupon today, it will be available for printing in your account tomorrow morning. (unless your credit card number is declined) Instead of waiting for an e-mail from us, you can just sign in tomorrow morning and visit “My Stuff” in the upper right corner and selecting “My Groupons.” It should be in there and ready to print.

Best,
Sarah

Sarah,

I bought my groupon and I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. at 12:30 My only problem is I don’t have a printer at home. I can print it today at work, but not tomorrow! Can I bring in the number? What if I can’t print the groupon?

I just bought two of these. I may end up giving one away as a Christmas present, but I was wondering if I can use both at the same time towards a package treatmnt?

Sarah R.

Joycelyn,

Yes, you may.

Can you use this groupon on the Package deals? For example, one package includes 90 min massage, style and mani pedi for $195

Pamela C.

Hi, if I buy two groupons, one for myself and one for my sister (she’s out of state and only comes to visit once in a while), can we use them on two different dates?

Jessica G.

Hello,

I want a $95 massage. Can the extra $5 go toward the tip? Or, are those $5 just wasted?
thanks,
Jessica

Sarah R.

Amber – Yes, you may use the Groupon’s towards package deals.

Pamela – Yes, you and your sister may use the Groupon’s on different dates. They must be used on the same date only if you are using two for yourself.

Jessica – Gratuity is not included in the Groupon, so if you only spend $95, you would forfeit the remaining $5 credit. Still – $50 for a $95 massage is a pretty good deal! :)

Sarah

Teresa W.

Hi, I called today to schedule an appt (for next week) with my Groupon’s, and the man that answered said “all those (the Groupon) appointments are booked for the week”
So does this mean limited staff are honoring them, or does it mean they are only letting a few people use them each week?

Sarah R.

Hi Teresa,

I spoke with the owner of L’Azur yesterday and because of the tremendous response to the promotion since Friday morning they have already scheduled a LOT of Groupon appointments for the next few weeks. My guess is that they are leaving a few openings for regular customers next week, particularly before the holiday.

Everyone on the staff is honoring this deal and since the Groupon offer is good for the next year, you should not have a problem getting an appointment in the near future. You are just going to have to look a little farther out on your calendar than next week.

Warm Regards,

Sarah

Brad N.

I just bought one of these things. How do I give it as a gift. Can I give it closer to Christmas?

Sarah R.

Hi Brad,

You will get an e-mail from us tomorrow with instructions on how to print out this certificate. You are welcome to give it as a gift, and the best way to do this is to give your gift recipient a hard copy of the certificate you can print from our site. The expiration date will be 1 year from tomorrow, so while you can wait to give it as a holiday gift, that just means the gift recipient will have less than a full year to redeem it. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at support@groupon.com.

Best,
Sarah

Benjamin S.

Hi Sarah,
I just printed my coupon and realized that it has my name as the Recipient. Can I still give this as a gift or do I have to redeem it since it has my name on it? Since I bought this for my wife and I plan on paying the difference (since she’ll undoubtedly go over $100) does it even matter who is receiving the services provided I pay for them?

thanks

Elana V.

Dear Groupon

I have the exact same question. I purchased two coupons to give as gifts to 2 people. I thought that was acceptable.

thanks

Sarah R.

Hi Benjamin, Elana,

You are welcome to give these Groupon’s as gifts.

We’ll eventually allow you to put the name of your gift recipient on the Groupon, but for now you will have to give your gift recipient your copy of the Groupon with your name printed on it. Our business partners pay more attention to the Groupon number in the upper right corner of the certificate than they do the name, so it doesn’t matter who redeems it, but each Groupon can only be used once.

Best,
Sarah

Got my coupon, made my appointment, then discovered the parking was awful, the salon was deserted, and the hair stylist was a novice. Not a good deal.

Ruth E.

I bought two of these Groupons and when I called today to make my appointment was told that they will not honor Groupons for massage. I would not have bought these – certainly not two of them! – except that massage was expressly included in the offer. How can I get my money back?

Tara Z.

I’m having the same problem as Ruth- I bought my coupon as a gift for a guy intending to use it for a massage. When he called to make the appointment the salon said the coupon could not be used for a massage and the manager there was also very rude about it. Pretty outrageous considering the ad for this coupon said “$50 for $100 Worth of Massages, Haircuts, Manicures, and More at L’azur Salon and Spa”….I’d like to get a refund also.

Deborah P.

I specifically called and asked what the limitations were on groupons, and they told me anything but massages. False advertising! Are you guys offering refunds on this? I have $200 to spend there!

Suzanne G.

These people were awful! The man who cut my hair started using thinning shears on my curly hair, and when I asked what he was doing, he told me he’d already done half of my head. He ended up charging me $40 extra dollars for this, when I didn’t ask for it, or want it. Not ok.

Sheila V.

I just called to make an appointment for a massage and was told that there was an “issue with Groupon” and I could not use mine. I was then given a phone number and told I needed to “explain this to someone or something…” by a woman who told she was “ordered” to tell me this. What is going on? Is Groupon issuing refunds for this? What do I do? I called the number and left a message, but this all seems so sketchy.

Birgit O.

I had a massage at his place and it was a really bad one. When I scheduled the appointment they only had a male massage therapist, but when I showed up it was a woman who was going to do the massage. I learned she had just been hired and that see was very unhappy about a number of thing, including the fact that she received less money for doing massages for Groupon members. Not only was she unprofessional but she gave me the worst massage I had had in my life by a massage therapist. I had a second one scheduled, which I canceled. The owner picked up the phone when I called to cancel and I shared my bad experience with her and she seemed happy that I told her. I am not quit sure what I will do with the other coupon, was planning on waiting a couple of months and hopefully get a good massage when a new person had gotten hired. May have to do pedicure and manicure since I have a hair dresser I am very happy with. They may only have one massage therapist at this time and maybe that is the reason Groupon members cannot use their coupons? Would very much love to get my money back on this deal if possible, do not really want to go back to this place. Of all the many things I have purchased on Groupon, this is the only deal I regret.

Joycelyn N.

I used my Groupon here to get my hair cut and styled, figuring if I liked the cut, they could become my regular hairdresser. I paid a total of $100 extra (on top of the groupon) for the layered cut (which btw, was plain awful) and simple highlights which i liked. So, $200 for all of it? SO NOT WORTH IT. Than I tried to schedule a massage for my husband and I’m facing the same problems as some of you. I wonder if we can get our money refunded? This particularly sucks because this was a Christmas present :((

Linda C.

I tried to schedule a mix of services to total the $200 value of coupons I purchased and they would not do that. They said I could have a massage for $80 for the $100 coupon. And a facial for the other one. That would be about $150 (or so) or services. The ad indicated that you could mix them up more than that. They also would not serve me on 12/13 (my wedding anniversary) earliest they accept coupons? February (mid) 2010. I gave the coupons as gifts and now they will not honor them at all — Oh my!

Amanda M.

I called Azur today (6/17/10) to schedule a massage. They told me “Groupon messed up. The offer was only supposed to be good for 6 months, which ended in April. Call 1877-788-7858 to talk to Groupon.” I am on hold with Groupon right now. I WANT MY $50 REFUNDED!!!!!!!!!

Amy C.

Amanda M – same thing here…I’m on hold with groupon now! I was really looking forward to an hour massage! I’m really pissed!

Kristi D.

I have had the same experience as others have reported – L’Azur will not honor my Groupon for massage/facial services as advertised. Anyone having luck getting money back on this one? I’m very disappointed.
