Thanks for writing, Edward. You purchase the deal from Groupon for $20. They will give you a gift card code and PIN good for $40 off contacts at Lens.com. You will then go to Lens.com and select the contact lenses that you fitted for by your eye care professional. The number of contact lenses in a box vary by brand.

I wear over the counter reading glasses and have had lasic in one eye. If I could get the equivalent of one eye correction to over the counter lenses, I could avoid having to reach for my reading glasses. is this something I can buy without having to go to an eye doctor? thanks Davesk@me.com

Dave K. asked 5 months, 26 days, 19 hours, and 42 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jeff P.

Thanks for writing, Dave. Lens.com requires a valid prescription for all contact lens orders. You can obtain a copy of your prescription from your doctor and forward it on to Lens.com, or you can simply provide Lens.com with the necessary information and we will verify it with your eye care provider. Don’t Forget - Federal Law now requires your eye care provider to release a copy of your prescriptions. This allows you to take advantage of our low prices. Make sure to get a copy of your contact lens prescription, it belongs to you.
