Choose From Two Options
- C$45 for a two-hour beginner’s DSLR photo workshop and walk (a C$250 value)
- C$55 for a 2.5-hour advanced DSLR photo workshop and walk (a C$265 value)
Beginner’s sessions start with a one-hour training session that teaches photo fundamentals including basic camera settings, shutter speeds, and the principles of lighting. Groups of five or fewer then set out on guided outdoor photography walkabouts through Fort Langley’s photogenic environs. During 2.5-hour advanced classes, students learn to manipulate exposure, correctly employ white balance, and discuss the use of filters and fill flash. Each participant must bring a DSLR digital camera with a memory card or a point-and-shoot camera with adjustable ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. Sessions include an 18-page booklet containing the information covered during training, and are held Sunday, Monday, and Saturday. Further registration information is available on LesleyAnn Photography’s Groupon-specific website.
