Questions and Answers
Oops, not sure why it crossed out “or have friends in that part of the area” in my comment above (we concentrate more on food here at Let’s Dish!… not so much experts in web formatting!), but I can assure you that the Groupon is valid for “friends in that part of the area,” as long as they are first time dishers :)
Veteran ‘Disher here… this is a helluva deal. I like the beef and pork dishes I’ve had and I recommend them. If calzones or enchiladas are on the menu, they’re good too. Plan on preparing any fish dishes sooner rather than later. It’s too bad for me not being a first timer for todays deal, but I may dangle this one out there for some friends. :)
Hi there. Considering purchasing as a Christmas gift for my sister – could I use this to get a gift certificate for her?

Hi Tamera,
This is Sarah from Groupon. You are more than welcome to buy this as a gift for your sister, as long as you are certain she is not already a Let’s Dish! customer. (New customers only today)
Best,
Sarah

GOOD MORNING! Now, if I buy this and they don’t want to prepare, just pickup, can they pay the difference?

Two questions:
(1) I didn’t see the Bel Air, Md. store listed?
(2) Can you do a mixture of prepare half and get half pre made? I didn’t see a lot of vegetarian (no meat, but fish okay) options on the menu, so if could do half and half, then that would give us more veggie meals to chose from?
Thanks,
Crystal

Hi Sherri,
Today’s deal only applies to the in-store dishing sessions, where customers assemble the meals themselves. It is actually a lot of fun! I’m a customer myself and it is easy and quick to put everything together and educational to see what ingredients go into what meals.
Best,
Sarah
Hi Crystal – Elizabeth from Let’s Dish! here…
Unfortunately, we’re not dishing in Bel Air anymore. The good news is that our Timonium store is just down the road. And while today’s deal is for make-it-yourself meals, we have recently introduced a veggie line-up. You can check out November’s offerings here: http://bit.ly/2Poyi0
Happy dishing! – E
I saw that the the one Let’s dish serves 8 meals for 2-3 people. Could one coupon be used for two people to come in together?

Hi Amanda,
You can buy one Groupon and do the “splits” option with a friend, so you both end up with 4 meals with 2-3 servings each. However, you will have to do some negotiating until you can both agree on the four entrees you want to split – there are lots of good ones to chose from!
Best,
Sarah
I’m confused about the sides. It says that sides are extra at $6 each. Do you have to pay for extra for any sides? For example, the Caribbean Chicken Fingers says it comes with the Parmesan Green Beans. Are those “included” or do you need to pay $6 for the green beans? Or in the case of the Pork Chops do you need to pay additional $ for the Three Cheese Potatoes?
Also, once you schedule your in-store session online, how soon do you have to come to the store for the session? Is there a specified time limit once you sign up?
Hi Amy, Good question. Most of our meals include a side. That is, if a side is mentioned in the name of the menu item, and/or in the description (as is the case with Caribbean Chicken with Parmesan Green Beans), then the side is included with the entree. At Let’s Dish!, customers can also select additional sides — in this case, you’ll also get one extra side of your choice. We usually have 5 or 6 different options at a time, and you’ll select one of those (usually costing $6) for free, as part of the Groupon offer.
As for scheduling and coming in, our calendar of sessions posts at least a month in advance. So as long as you dish by 1/31/10 (when the Groupon expires) you’ll have plenty of time to reserve your session, get excited for it, then come in :)
Hi. I have a question about special dietary needs. I notice on the website that it’s possible to make some meals gluten-free. Can you explain how this is usually done? Some of the examples are of meals that clearly contain gluten (e.g., in breading, or the meatloaf contains breadcrumbs, or the protein is served with orzo, etc.). If something is breaded, for example, what is the gluten-free preparation option?
Thanks!

I would like to purchase 2 of these. One for my neighbor. I purchased one, and now want to update to 2, but it will not let. Special instructions?
Hi Sabrina, This offer is limited to one per person, though you could certainly invite your neighbor to sign up on her own — then you could come in and dish together. Pssst… I think you can also get a $10 Groupon credit for referring a friend to one of these deals. -E

Thank you! I sent her the link. I was kind of hoping to make it a surprise though. No worries, either way works.
Hi Andrea, Thanks for the question about gluten-free options… I apologize for taking so long to get back to you… yes, we have lots of options for the GF community. Of course, not all meals can be made gluten-free, but, for example, you can always substitute wheat-free tamari for soy sauce, sub rice for orzo. For meals with breading, unfortunately you’ll have to skip that step… but I can tell you, our chicken parm is excellent even without the breading. By the way, we put out a “Gluten Freedom” newsletter every month, showing which meals can be made gluten-free and exactly how to do so. Feel free to email bloggers@letsdish.net and we can send you November’s — just one of the ways Let’s Dish! customized meals help those with special dietary considerations. Happy dishing!
Hi,
I have not received an email with the link to print out my coupon for this. Does it usually take this long?

Hi, Sorry if this has already been answered, but how do I schedule a session? I’m interested in Timonium.

Hi everyone…. this is Elizabeth from Let’s Dish!. We’re thrilled to be part of Groupon’s first week in Baltimore. We’ve already gotten some questions in calls to our stores, so I thought I would answer them here. This Groupon is valid at any of our Maryland and Virginia locations (Timonium and Columbia are probably most convenient for Baltimore Groupies, but if you’re closer to DC or Northern VA
- or have friends in that part of the area- our Alexandria, Ashburn and Fairfax VA stores will also accept Groupon’s offer). As for the dishes, each of the four main dishes serves 4-6 people, or you can “split” the dishes (some or all) to serve 2-3 each. Either way, you get 24 servings of dinner, plus 1 family dessert and 1 family side, and an order of our signature scones. We’ll be online all day and most of the weekend, so feel free to post questions, or call our stores. – E
