Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training, a certified instructor introduces approximately 30 students of all levels to techniques for safely carrying a concealed weapon. The 3.5-hour class covers subjects such as self-defense with firearms, drawing from a holster, safe storage practices, and concealed-carry laws.

Once they complete the course, students receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Virginia resident or non-resident concealed-handgun permit. Parking available and a 15-minute walk from the Clarendon metro.
