Choose Between Two Options

  • $749 for a nonsurgical lower eyelid lift for both eyes (up to a $2,000 value)
  • $1,199 for upper eyelid lift surgery for both eyes (a $2,995 value)

During the nonsurgical option, doctors fight fine lines, dark circles, and hollows under the eyes by injecting a dermal filler into sunken spots, then resurfacing the skin with a fractional laser. A topical anesthetic keeps discomfort at bay, though pinkness may last 7–10 days.

The surgical option begins with a consultation, after which the doctor numbs the skin with a local anesthetic and makes small incisions across the natural crease in the upper lids. Through these slits, he or she removes fat deposits and excess tissue, thereby minimizing the appearance of bags and puffiness. The entire procedure takes two to three hours. Stitches come out after about a week and bruising typically lasts about 7–10 days.

Linage Dermatology Institute

At Linage Dermatology Institute, a crack team of dermatologists, medical aestheticians, and plastic surgeons work hard to deliver revamped bodies and glowing complexions. Among the aesthetic specialists is plastic surgeon Dr. Genevieve MacDonald, who brings beauty to the forefront with procedures such as liposuction and eyelid lifts. "I enjoy doing both [facial and body cosmetic surgery] because I appreciate how each procedure improves appearance and one's self-esteem," she says on her website. In addition to this enthusiasm, Dr. MacDonald treats every patient with an honest personality and medical skills honed at Johns Hopkins University.

Happy to have Dr. MacDonald among their ranks, the staff at Linage Dermatology also specializes in laser treatments that zap fine lines and pigmented blemishes, leaving skin looking younger and patients feeling more confident. In an effort to help people maintain renewed faces or pet hairless cats, the institute touts its own line of skincare products called Linage LINQ, a medical-grade line of cleansers, toners, and moisturizers.

The Groupon Guide to: Displaying Your Varsity Letter

While earning a varsity letter in high-school athletics remains cool, wearing a letterman's jacket to display it isn't quite as cool. Here's how you can show off your athletic achievement without that jacket:

  • Instead of a letterman's jacket, start wearing a pair of letterman's jeans.

  • Turn your varsity letter into something practical that you must use often, such as a swatting device to fend off all the students who want to try to become your best friend.

  • At lunch, pull out a sandwich made of bread and your varsity letter. Then tell all the people you're sitting near: "Not again, you guys. My mom keeps making me a 'reminder of my physical gifts on rye.'"

  • Do that magic trick where you seemingly disappear into a cloud of smoke and, when the smoke clears, all that's left is your varsity letter. That way people will probably carry that letter around school thinking it's you until the end of time.

  • Sew it directly onto your body. If there's ever a time to try sewing something onto your skin, it's when you're young and popular enough to get a nice ceremony should something go horribly wrong.

Hunky guys, you can appear even hunkier in public by combing your hair with your varsity letter.
