1) is it $7 per person to enter the park or per vehicle? 2) if it's 2 friends for the double kayak rental - 17 and 18 yrs old - is that ok? since neither is the parent or guardian of the other? 3) do 2 people paddle the double or only 1 person? thnx!

Denise, The cost is $7 per person. If you have a Texas parks pass everyone in the group is covered. A double kayak is for two people. We prefer that anyone under 18 has a parent or guardian to sign a liability waiver for them.

Kayakers must be at least 18 years old to paddle their own kayak. If a parent/guardian accompanies a child in a double kayak there is no age limit. We just require that children fit into our life jackets which must weigh 50 pounds or greater.

For children, do you mean they must be a minimum of 50 lbs? I would like to purchase the deal for my husband and I to take them out, both my children weigh over 50 lbs.

I've done kayaking from Lynn Creek Park over to the far west fork of the lake and down the long winding creek there. Is there similar scenery from Cedar Hill State Park on the east side or is it all basically the main open space of the lake? I don't think two hours would allow enough time for an amateur to get all the way to the west fork creek and back.

Hello Andrew, I am unfamiliar with the scenery on the other side of the lake. We have many coves at Cedar Hill Park, with open water paddling to get to each cove. There would not be enough time in two hours to get to Lynn Creek and back.

Yes we provide all necessary equipment including jackets and paddles. If an adult is paddling with a child in a double kayak the weight limit is 50 pounds for a child (must fit in a life jacket) if a child is paddling their own kayak they must be at least 18.

The directions listed do not take you to Cedar Hill State Park but FM 1382 and Duncanville Rd. Where is this groupon truly located?
