On their website they say the 30 minute Chakra massage is $30. On Groupon’s site they say it is valued at $70. Why the difference?

If you look on the express services page, it shows $30 for a 30 minute massage which is what the groupon deal is.

The website shows that the 30 min massage is $30 and the 30 min facial is $30, which is way less than indicated on the Groupon page. This is not nearly as good of a deal as it appears at first glance.

Can you see how much to upgrade to a 60 min massage and 60 min facial?

I would even skip the pedicure.

I can tell you it’s ok.. there is the give the gift of groupon option that would make it easy for gift giving, but it’s ok if that they use one with your name on it…

I hope my question is relevant to ask here. So if I purchase the groupon deal for $50, how much should I tip? Also for the 3 different services (massage, facial and pedicure), should I tip each of the 3 people who help me? Or should I tip them all together?

I’ll be spending the Christmas holiday in LA and would like to take my Mom for a spa treat. Since my visit will have a time constraint, could I possibly make my spa appointment for myself and my mom before buying the groupons? I’d like to ensure I’m able to use it during my visit. Thanks

The tip should be based on the actual value of the product.
As far as tipping each service, I wouldn’t. I would just leave the tip with the front desk, and ask them to distribute evenly according to services rendered. You could do yourself, but you would have to price each service independantly and figure 15-20 % for each service.

You may have the same person performng all 3 services.

If I buy 3 (one for my mom, sister and me), can we all use them on the same day? by booking appts separately? Or because the groupon is under my name, I must use each on different days?

this is not express, in room 30 min massage with our chakra line and techniques

offer is good at both locations for booking and they are equal in their expereince

The groupon expires in March 2010. How far in advance (typically) would you have to schedule an appointment? I’ve bought packages before where there is an expiration date which makes it incredibly hard to stick to when they book up all the time.

I love that this is in my neck of the woods. Any possibility that an Orange County page might be in the future?

The point is not to abuse the system- They are being generous in extending the expiration but if everyone is gonna use a ton for themselves then that kind of defeats the purpose… we want you to enjoy but we also want to make sure everyone else does as well

Can I get a refund for this Groupon?

I used mine a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful, indulgent afternoon!

I’m curious to hear if anyone has had any problem using this Groupon since the expiration was extended? I called in March to schedule an appointment and was told I’d be called back sometime in May or June.. is this the experience everyone else is having?

I’ve have problems trying to book to get all my services scheduled for the same day. Each time I call, they tell me that they’re completely booked, well into September. It is almost impossible to book for all 3 services to be done at the same time. The esthecian is only there Weds and Fri (Anaheim) and the manicurist is only there certain days too. How do I get a refund for this?

I recently used my groupon and it was amazing! The only complaint I have is that it was the express pedicure, not the Caribbean one that was advertised. Other than that it was great!
