During the manicure, a nail tech shapes and files nails while paying special attention to the cuticles. The tech then exfoliates dead skin cells with a scented scrub, massages the hands, and finishes with polish. The European-style pedicure takes place in a massaging chair and starts with a soak in a whirlpool tub before following suit with the same services included in the manicure.

Aestheticians customize signature facials to the client’s needs. First, they cleanse and exfoliate the skin and then administer a steam treatment and extractions. Next, they massage the neck, shoulders, and décolletage before finishing with a custom mask. The speedy revitalizing facial is designed to rejuvenate the skin in a more streamlined version of the signature facial.

Luxe Spa

The goal of every aesthetician, stylist, and cosmetic technician at Luxe Spa is to inspire renewed confidence in their clients by creating new or reinvigorated looks. The spa's wooden shelves hoist an arsenal of OPI nail polishes, Guinot skincare products, and L'Oréal Professional lathers, which the staff routinely employ during hair and nail services, botanical-based facials, and exfoliating body treatments with Dead Sea salts. Massage therapists knead away stress knots with a number of specialized modalities, while med spa techs combine their aesthetic intuition and technological expertise during electrolysis treatments, microdermabrasions, and laser hair-removal sessions.

The Groupon Guide to: Spicing Up a Monologue

Monologues are the most boring part of plays since they only involve a single performer and that single performer is never an adorable baby actor. To make these seemingly unending passages more interesting, follow these helpful tips:

  • Do something interesting with your voice. You could give your character an accent or, if you can't do a convincing accent, just yell the entire time.

  • Cut out all the unnecessary words, such as articles and any full sentences that don't foreshadow how the main character is a group of children hiding inside a man's suit.

  • Wear a funky hat or rad loafers. That'll give the audience something to look at!

  • Perform it with multiple people and tell the director you're going to start calling it a fun-o-logue.

  • Start at the end of the monologue and work backward. Then when you finish, tell the audience that they just got Pranked'd™. (If you're interested in buying the rights to use the name Pranked'd™, probably for a hilarious hidden-camera goof show, please contact Groupon for more information.)

Why is there so much yelling in plays? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
