Absolutely fantastic experience. We all enjoyed it, even the two 15-year-old boys. Even though I have physical limitations and couldn't do much, I was included in the handling and hooking-up of our team. I was a very happy rider on every trip we went out on. I would highly recommend the over-night winter camping. We were toasty warm in your wonderful sleeping bags. We went out on several runs, over the 2 days. The night run is the most beautiful, but we would recommend doing the last run on the 2nd day. It is included in the price and so well worth it. I enjoyed the opportunity to take pictures of these wonderful dogs. We have recommended MUSHERS to everyone we know, and will continue to do so. Have another Groupon for the overnight trip and we will certainly come again! Cindy Massolin

After a tutorial, six-dog teams whisk passengers away on treks across 80 acres of trails and woodlands

Some activities are only possible after snowfall, such as building a snowman or assuring a snowman he won’t be single forever. Celebrate snow with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $30 for a Just a Smidge dogsledding tour for one child aged 4–11 (a $60 value)
  • $125 for a Just a Smidge dogsledding tour for one adult aged 12 or older (a $250 value)
  • $120 for a Tiki Torch Trails dogsledding tour for one adult aged 12 or older (a $240 value)

After a 20-minute tutorial, two Just a Smidge participants harness and hook up their six-husky team before riding on their sled. They spend the rest of their session—about 75 minutes—exploring trails and taking turns driving before returning their team and treating each dog to snacks and soup-water. The tours are available on Fridays and Saturdays from January 11 to March 9 at 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m.

A 15-minute tutorial begins 60-minute Tiki Torch Trails sessions, though teams are harnessed and hooked up before guests arrive. Visitors then travel along trails lit by moonlight and tiki torches lining each path. The tours are available on Fridays from January 10 to March 7 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The accomodations left a little to be desired; although I think it could have been improved if we had been invited to bring more with us. But honestly, I expected to be roughing it, so didn't have a big problem! Otherwise, it was completely amazing!

Better advise people what an overnight adventure consists of. ie come to the location with winter clothes on (assumed there would be a place to change other than car when driving in from Toronto - its a little far to come bundled up ready for dog sledding). Also more information on winter camping. For those who have not done it, it is a culture shock and would be better if told about constantly stoking a fire (means poor sleep if you plan to drive home the next day!) Would have taken a hotel near by..
