During two-hour workshops, expert instructors demystify the tricks and principles of Adobe Photoshop. Five sessions break the program up into an introduction and lessons on adjustment layers, retouching and cloning, blending and collaging, and masking and compositing. Classes take place Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; the location is based on the number of participants and will be announced at the time of booking.
Led by master photographers Thomas Wright and Jason Panda, the intrepid camera masters at MacroClass share the secrets of their hard-earned image-capturing mastery with all comers. In private lessons, Wright himself tailors curricula to each student's needs, with courses ranging from basic introductions for complete novices to frustratingly unproductive meetings with his clone. Photo walks lead groups of novice photographers through Waterloo’s urban and natural landscapes, teaching them the basics of camera functionality and shot framing along the way.
