Magnolia Salon's team of stylists—a group of close friends with a passion for haircare—undergo frequent training to master industry trends and maximize the benefits of L'Oréal Professionnel products. Throughout the haircut, staffers consult with the client to honor specific preferences and temperamental cowlicks. The stylist massages in an application of L'Oréal Professional Power Dose, which leaves hair soft and silky through up to six shampoos. Glimmers of ammonia-free Majimèches or Majilift partial highlights add chiaroscuro to manes' tops and sides during 45-minute sessions, or a one-hour full highlight session manifests eye-catching contrast over the whole head more subtly than a hat made out of rope lights. A sleek style makes coif transformations complete.

Guests sip complimentary coffee, tea, beer, wine, or soft drinks as they enjoy the salon's clean, friendly atmosphere. One wall features an elegant mural of a tree with blossoming branches that can be traced with a finger or climbed with handheld suction cups.
