I agree in principle, tho in this case I know where I am most likely to use it. Groupon should take note to advise chains that splitting their offerings by location is likely to lose them potential sales.
It says right on the coupon •Redeemable at six locations….so you dont have to use it at just one
How hard could it be people? Just select the location that is convenient to your place of residence or work.

Brandi/Ken – Just to clarify I think it means that its redeemable at one of 6 locations and not any of the 6. I would imagine that is the reason it ask you to select a location when you complete the purchase.

it says not good for online orders, is it good on to go orders?
I love Mama Fu’s. I bought two. One for the Lakeline location (near where I work) and one for the downtown location ( near where I live) because I tend to order from both depending on where I happen to be when the urge to have some Mama Fu’s hits me.
Bob is my fave delivery guy. I order so much delivery we are on a first name basis.
What I like about Mama Fu’s is that its top notch fresh food that’s not priced ridiculously high.
I tend to like small plates and appetizers when I dine at restaurants and gravitate toward their appetizer menu for their lettuce wraps, basil spring roles and seared ahi tuna.
Tip: Their happy hour features drink specials and all of their apps are half priced. That’s my fave time of day. (Can’t redeem my Groupon and use the happy hour discount, but hey..it’s half priced happy hour!)
And no, I don’t work for them. I’m just a Fu-natic!

Yes, the Groupon does all need to be used at once as there is no change/credit issued. I will say if you are worried about spending it all, get a little extra! And let them know you might be reheating some of it or not eating it right away. They will let you know what saves well and offer to put sauce on side, etc. Enjoy!

I have a question about the “This Groupon is not valid toward… kids eat free special”—does that mean that if I have my kids with me I can not use the groupon to cover my meal if they eat free?
Please advise of time to resolution of printing problem of groupons today for this Mama Fu’s deal?

Nishitha~ This expires December 3. The expiration can always be found as the first line under FINE PRINT under the picture! After expiration, it’s only worth $10 rather than $20!
Crystal, that’s correct. Kids eat free is a promotion or discount so the Groupon could not be combined with that or other specials.
Adrian, you might refresh or log out and log back in. These issues are usually resolved very quickly!

When you go to print this groupon it states it cannot be used today. (Lakeline Location)
Also, I have not been able to print mine either. When I go to print I get an the error message that Groupon is having technical difficulties.

Hi Nan- Just hop into the “used,” tab of your account and click “mark as unused.” You should be all set! :)

I’m so excited for this deal!! Mama Fu’s has the freshest, most consistently delicious Asian food in Austin, which is hard to find. I LOVE the pork egg rolls & Vietnamese Crunchy Noodles…. to die for!! Thanks Fu’s & Groupon… Also, the steamed pot stickers ROCK!

People don’t always realize that you can request them steamed.
Meant to mention that I used to have a roomie last year that had to eat Gluten free. I turned her on to Mama Fu’s when I showed her a list of ways you could easily special order your faves at Mama Fu’s to make them gluten free.
RE: Printing the Groupon – I thought they were only available for printing and use the day after purchase. I’ve never tried printing them the day of purchase.
Can you use your two groupons in one order? I have a large group I am feeding and using two for one order might be nice!
I’m not able to print my Fu Groupon. When I try to print it, the link takes me to a “Something’s Broke” page and in the background it refers to a groupon in Honolulu, if that helps the webmaster who is hopefully working on this problem.

I purchased 3 (since it says I can buy 2 additional as gifts) but did them all at once and it let me…but now it won’t let me print it gives the “something’s broken” error and sends me to honolulu…should I have done them in 2 separate orders?…how do I fix this?
This really is annoying. I’ve been trying to print for 3 hrs. I DID refresh the browser, DID logout and log back in, DID try using a different browser. STILL cannot print. HELP?!
Just FYI for those trying to print their Groupon… I have never been able to print mine the day of purchase. Also on the confirmation page after you make your purchase it says that you will receive an e-mail in 24 hours letting you know when your groupon is ready to print. Sorry for those that wanted Mama Fu’s today for lunch…. :(

I assure you we are working on the printing problem! It WILL be fixed! Don’t worry! I’ll post as soon as I hear more!
Typically, you get a message when you try to print a Groupon on the day you buy it that asks you to wait until tomorrow before you go to use it!
As with most Groupons, the idea is to use 1 per order/table/visit. If you are coming in with a large group or placing a large/catering order, I’m sure Mama Fu’s will work with you to use two but it is up to their discretion. They are very accommodating and want happy customers!
To be clear, YES you can use this for take out and delivery but you need to call in your order with your Groupon number. There’s no way to use it with on-line orders.

I wanted to send my link to refer a friend….good thing I checked the link first because when it is used…it takes you straight to my account ….with my payment info saved. What am I doing wrong?
I always send the link generated by the little “email envelope” up to beside the facebook and twitter options? You might try that. Also, I don’t think THEY see that info because they have to be logged into your account. Hope that helps?!

I copied/pasted teh link on to an email that specifically says refer a friend. I cant get on Twitter or FB at work so I wanted to send an email. I totally logged off and copied/pasted the link and Poof there it was (my pymnt info).
I had to select a location when I purchased this but the coupon seems to indicate that it can be used at any location. Can you please clarify? Does this have to be redeemed at the location I selected or can I use at any location?

We do ask that you pre-select which location you are likely to visit. This helps us to manage our staffing, delivery drivers, etc., as well as to better track voucher redemption across all six area locations. Groupon’s template automatically lists the other locations, so I understand that it makes it a little confusing. If you end up visiting a different location, we’ll certainly be able to accommodate you, but otherwise this helps us to plan accordingly and make sure you have a great experience.

I was all for this deal until I saw I could only buy for one location. I never know where I will be when I want to get a meal. The attraction to this place is the multiple locations and accessibility. You lose that when you can only go to one of the location.
The deal is off for me.
