Choose Between Two Options

$10 for a manatee dive and tour for a child aged 12 or younger (a $24.50 value). Children aged 5 and younger are free with a paid adult.

  • Guided manatee tour (a $14.50 value)
  • Snorkel-equipment rental (a $10 value)

$20 for a manatee dive and tour for an adult (a $49 value)

  • Guided manatee tour (a $29 value)
  • Snorkel-equipment rental (a $20 value)

Guided manatee tours depart several times a day for 2.5 hours and grant guests the opportunity to observe the majestic yet gentle mammals within an environment designed to preserve and protect their population. Before the dive, guests don wetsuits, masks, snorkels, fins, and echolocation helmets. Then guides armed with plenty of safety experience and knowledge of the natural world lead swimmers of all ability levels through manatee-rich waters as the huge creatures drift along, interact, and convene consciousness-raising groups to eliminate the hurtful term "sea cow."

Manatee Tour and Dive

Manatee Tour and Dive curates expeditions among west indian manatees within the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, which is dotted with natural springs and underground saunas that keep the water at a temperature of around 72 degrees. Guided manatee tours offer the opportunity to snorkel or scuba dive with the gentle giants, while kayak rentals encourage self-exploration of the crystal-clear waters and inner spirit-manatees. Licensed captains lead groups on scalloping expeditions, during which groups travel to scallop-abundant areas to splash in the water and gather live bay scallops to take home.

The Groupon Guide to: Bodily Systems

Our bodies are more than just the beastly vessels our souls must live in—they are complex systems of muscle, bone, and smells that work together so that we can go to our jobs, eat our food, and use our toilets. Learn more about the bodily systems that make it all possible:

The Nervous System: Transmitters all over your body send messages to your brain so that you know whether you're feeling hot, cold, or all of the blood draining out of your right leg.

The Digestive System: This unfair part of your body converts vegetables into energy but turns all good-tasting foods into fat and compressed air.

The Circulatory System: Your body is a factory of hot juices. The circulatory system keeps these juices moving so you stay at the comfortable and healthy temperature of freshly cooked soup.

The Skeletal System: The core of your being is a bunch of hollow, brittle sticks that future species will dig up and use to guess what you looked like when you still had skin and dignity.

What is the temperature of the human body food-wise?
