Mango's Taqueria & Cantina dishes out Jalisco-style Mexican dishes and guacamole prepared tableside beneath tin star lanterns or on its outdoor patio atop Pier 39. Housemade red and green salsas, inspired by family recipes, help flavor braised pork and chicken tacos, platters of carnitas, and tamales. Mango's team of mixologists pours more than 50 agave tequilas as well as Mexican wines and beers, doles out shots of Jager and Jameson, which are on special daily, and shakes specialty cocktails such as the El Centauro—a blend of juices, tequila, black pepper, and agave nectar. The restaurant also hosts special events such as liquor tastings, live mariachi music each Friday, and cacti fights.
