I’ve tried this falafel, it’s really good and big enough for dinner. I’m in.
It is my first time in Groupon. I’ve bought it, what’s next?
I checked out the website to see how much $6 can get me, but there’s no information on prices. Can anyone tell me how much things on the menu are? Thanks!
$6 can get you a basic sandwich. Adding hummus or something else to the sandwich usually costs me around $7 and change. Drinks and fries are extra.
When you get to the store, the basics are separated from the extras. The basics are really all you need to fill you up. Nope, I do’t work there, just eat there.
It looks like a good deal, but it`s not really. The only thing you can get is only falafel sandwich, tax is not included, which means for anything else you might want, you have to dig in your pockets. I`ve had a delish falafel sandwich in LES for $2,50.

I’ve eaten here twice and I’ve paid about $8 – $12 dollars. It’s still a good deal, though, because the food is decent and you get $3 free. Just heed my words. If you’re getting the meal including fries and salad bar, the junior sandwich is more than enough for any one person. Don’t bump it up to the grownup size unless you have a bottomless stomach or you don’t mind having a lot of food left over.
Just bought 2. I usually go to the one in Union Sq, I get the junior falafel sandwich with hummus and load on the free sides like veggies. It usually cost be about $6. So, I’m excited for this deal.
I want to buy 15 of these (I live in union square). This is my first groupon, do I get a card or something or 15 different certificates?

Just want to say that I absolutely love this place and am so excited about this deal! I have nothing to do with Maoz but am just a happy customer :)
Are any of these locations under kosher supervision?
I know that there is a limit of using three. Can I buy six groupons and give three as a gift to a friend?
I’m almost positive they all have kosher certification – def the UWS location has the ‘certified kosher’ paperwork on the wall.

All of our NY stores carry a Kosher certificate by: Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg Ordained Alumnus of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas (Member of a national Orthodox Rabbinical organization). And all of our restaurants are strictly vegetarian.
Also the menu link includes a breakfast menu which is only offered at our Union Square location.

Is this groupon valid for the 2047 Broadway location that will soon be opening?

Our 2047 Broadway location is open already (between 70th and 71st)… Coming soon is the 2857 Broadway (between 110th and 111th).
And YES- It will be valid!
I have food allergies – no gluten, wheat, oat or barley. I did look at your website and could not find any information relative to this. Of course I do realize that the pita bread is out of the question, but can you advise on the falafel, sauces and possibly if any of those ingredients enter your deep fryer (cross contamination is an issue for me as well – ie. if the french fries are in the same fryer as something breaded with flour)? You have locations both near my apartment and office and I would love to be able to add Maoz to my food options! Thank you.

Our falafel is not gluten free… Yet! We are currently working on a gluten free falafel recipe for all of those in need of a healthy, delicious and flour-free meal! We will post an update on our website once we implement it at all of our stores nation-wide.

I love the fries as Maoz and wish I could use some of the nice looking condiments, will you please add some vegan mayo’s and dips besides tahini? Also, is there cilantro in the falafel and if so, can you order it without?

unfortunately I missed this deal, as I was away without my laptop, but, looked at the website menu, and am going anyway – I have lived here ten years, and didnt know it existed!!! Not only does groupon provide great discounts, but its a great advertising tool for our local businesses. I hope this deal comes up again!

There is cilantro in the falafel mix and you cannot order without.
You might want to stick to the tahini….

I just used my Groupon at Maoz Vegetarian and the service was EXCELLENT!!! The cashier knew what a groupon was, he didn’t give me any questioning looks, he treated me like any other customer. The service was EXCELLENT.
The Falafel was made fresh, it tastes great, and I wish I could get more than 3.
Just used my groupon at the Upper West side location. Loved the falafel and all the fixin’s but, my fries were served cold! I do have extra coupons and will go back but it is a special request for hot fries?
I just used my groupon at the Upper West Side location as well, it was awesome! Very good falafel, and that salad bar is great. I wish I had bought more groupons in the beginning. Also, my fries were warm, it must have been a fluke … Hope theres another deal in the future for Maoz! :-D
Why must I print a hard copy of this groupon for the store? I tried using with my iPhone and was told it can not be accepted.
