$6 for $12 Worth of Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt

Fresh ingredients go into approximately 80 flavors of rich ice cream, low-fat yogurt, and fruity sorbets, each customized to your liking with a range of mix-ins such as blueberries, cashews, and Reese’s Pieces candy. Prices vary by size; for example, a kid’s cup is $2.99, a medium-sized serving with one mix-in costs $4.99, and customers pay $0.60 for each additional mix-in. Aside from churning out custom-made creations, the ice-cream servers also concoct classic ice-cream shop treats including banana splits ($5.99) and chocolate malts ($5.25).

Marble Slab Creamery

The Marble Slab Creamery sensory experience begins by just walking past the storefront, where the buttery scent of fresh-baked waffle cones drifts out into the air. Gourmet ice creams are freshly crafted on site from Marble Slab’s original recipe, enticing customer's eyes with a rainbow of colors. Once clients have made a flavor selection, they choose from a smorgasbord of mix-ins, from fresh fruit to nuts to candy and crumbled cookies, which an ice cream chef then hand-folds in atop a frosty marble slab before packing the finished custom-designed flavor masterpiece into a house-made waffle cone.

In addition to procuring hand-held treats, Marble Slab Creamery can send creations home in a variety of other formats, such as ice cream cakes, cupcakes, and hand-packed quarts, or in the capable hands of a catering team for sprucing up special events such a corporate get-togethers or school functions with portable marble slabs or sundae bars in tow.

The Groupon Guide to: Empty 2-Liter Soda Bottles

Everyone loves drinking soda pop straight out of 2-liter bottles, but when the soda pop is all gone, you've got to recycle that empty plastic container, a process that can be awful and horrible. Make the end as fun as the beginning with these tips for hanging on to those empties and using them for fun:

  • Play sports with them. An empty 2-liter bottle is the perfect object to use as a whiffle-ball bat or a weird basketball that's incredibly frustrating to use.

  • Turn them into pieces of art. You can do this by filling them with just about anything because most art isn't very good.

  • Bring them to a sporting event and use the bottles as thunder sticks, which are those hollow, cylindrical plastic objects that fans bang together to signal to each other when they should all be quiet for a key play.

  • Throw them up in the air and see if they float!

  • Recycle them the easy, painless way: by just throwing them away in the garbage.

Is a 2-liter bottle filled with roast beef considered art?
