$95 for Permanent Eyebrow Makeup, Top Eyeliner, or Lipliner ($400 Value)
Marie Cutrer spends up to 1.5 hours permanently implanting natural pigments beneath the top layer of skin with medically safe techniques. Touch-ups are available for an additional $100.
Makeup artist Marie Cutrer first discovered permanent makeup when looking for a way to hide a childhood scar. Inspired by the results, she decided to attend the Arizona Institute of Permanent Cosmetics and ditch her analog face paints. Marie learned how to skillfully and delicately apply permanent makeup, which landed her a job in Hawaii correcting the mistakes of inexperienced artists who favored the short-lived unibrow trend of the 1980s. Next, she enrolled in the holistic aesthetician program at Spa Luna, where she earned her aesthetics license while learning how to blend Ayurvedic, Eastern, and Western techniques. Marie's family soon brought her back to Arizona, where she attended the Physicians Skin Institute and added photofacials, tattoo removal, and acne and wrinkle treatments to her menu of services.
Marie now draws on 15 years of experience as she implants natural pigments into the dermis via microinsertion. In addition to filling in sparse eyebrows and lash lines, she indelibly dolls up clients with cosmetic allergies, visual limitations, or unsteady hands. While clients save time getting ready in the morning, they can also rest assured that their makeup won't smear, wear off, or evaporate into thin air.
