Curious how/why you are calling these massage therapists "Liscensed"? There is no liscensure in the state of mn for massage therapy. We are under "permits" by the cities we work in, and "certified" by the schools and hours spent in classes - but are not liscensed. For the consumer this is confusing and i strongly disagree with you using this term in your marketing.

Thank you for the feedback. Massage Advantage covers multiple states, so that appears to be the source of the confusion in the general business information writeup. I have passed it on the the appropriate parties.

Hello Jodi B . I am a Massage Therapist in the Savage Clinic. I am hoping to answer this question for you. I went to Massage school for 18 months and have worked really hard during this time to receive an Associates degree. It cost me over $18,000.00 for this career. I love what I do and take it very serious.. Could be why I am booked out a month at a time. Even though the State of Minnesota does not regulate Massage therapy, Each city does. Here is a good example. I lived in Wisconsin it was the state regulating the license for Massage therapist, not the city. We were classified as an actual health care provider. When I moved back to MN I had to get a license from each city I worked in. Not the state. St. Paul is the only place I am aware that has us take a test to obtain a license for massage. It would be really nice when all states have the same regulations. When a state does not regulate the therapist it seems like more things can go wrong. Regulations are a great way to help with protecting us/you. I hope this helped.
