Mecca Salon

As you walk up the stairs to Mecca Salon, you pass through a line of blooming plants and bushes. From the side of the house, a portrait of a woman glances at all guests, her hair spiraling into fantastical curls that nearly reach the porch. Already, clients are privy to the creative whimsy and ecological focus of the styling team members, who primp and color hair with natural products from Davines. Their services encompass cuts, custom dye applications, elaborate updos, and texturizing procedures such as Brazilian blowouts. Supplementing these services are makeup and waxing treatments.

The two aestheticians on staff also administer facials with Comfort Zone skincare formulas. The earth-friendly serums—housed in recyclable packaging and made from raw materials—target dryness, sensitivity, and signs of aging caused by living through the Cuban Missile Crisis. Just as the stylists adjust their trimming talent to suit the individual, the aestheticians tailor their cleansing approach to each complexion.
